'Twilight' Stars' Hand and Footprints Immortalized at Chinese Theatre Ceremony (Live Video)

When Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner began shooting the adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight in 2008, few could have predicted the international phenomenon the the book to film series would become. Now, as the first installment of the epic finale draws near, the cast prepares to secure their place in Hollywood history.

The trio's hand and foot prints will be immortalized outside Hollywood's legendary Chinese Theatre during a Nov. 3 ceremony, inducting them into an elite club of just over 250 members. Attracting as many visitors as the Taj Mahal and the Prado Museum, the Chinese Theatre draws four million people each year, ranking among the world’s most photographed tourist sites.

The Twilight Saga, which has two films yet to debut in the five part series, has grossed a combined $1.8 billion at the worldwide box office. Part 1 of the highly anticipated finale is set to debut on Nov. 18.
The Hollywood Reporter will be livestreaming as Pattinson, Stewart and Lautner receive their prestigious honor at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.
