The duo wed at a private ranch in Malibu in front of 100 guests, Reed's rep said.

"We couldn't be happier!" the couple told Us Weekly in a joint statement. "[We were] surrounded by our family and friends. We're so glad this day has come!"

Reed, 23, and McDonald, 27, who became engaged in June after just two months of dating. They met in March at the premiere of Red Riding Hood, which was directed by Reed's Twilight helmer Catherine Hardwicke.

Reed next appears in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1, which hits theaters Nov. 18.

McDonald was a finalist on the most recent season of Fox's American Idol. He wrapped the American Idols Live Tour last month.
