'Twilight Saga' tops Teen Choice Awards

Franchise wins 11 trophies; CW's 'Vampire Diaries' nabs 7

Vampires ruled at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards.

"The Twilight Saga" nabbed 11 awards at Sunday's ceremony, including choice movie fantasy, villain and chemistry.

"Twilight's" Kristen Stewart was named choice movie actress in a fantasy and choice summer female movie star, while her co-star Taylor Lautner took home the award for choice movie actor in a fantasy.

Their "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson was named choice summer male movie star and also nabbed an award for his film "Remember Me" as choice movie actor in a drama.

Meanwhile, the CW's "The Vampire Diaries" bit into seven surfboard-shaped trophies at the event, which was taped at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif.

Sandra Bullock also was a multiple winner, accepting awards for choice movie actress in a drama for "The Blind Side" and in a romantic comedy for "The Proposal." She also shared the award for choice movie dance with her "Proposal" co-star Betty White.

"Avatar" also racked up multiple awards, including choice sci-fi movie and choice sci-fi movie actor and actress for Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana.

The CW's "Gossip Girl" was named choice TV show, while Fox's "Glee" was tops in the TV comedy category.

Among the music categories, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga were named choice male and female artist.

The freewheeling ceremony included several silly moments, including George Lopez appearing in drag as an older Kardashian sister and White interrupting Bullock's acceptance speech for choice movie drama actress. Host Katy Perry relived high school days by dressing up as cheerleader, geek, hippie, prom queen and goth.

The show is scheduled to air at 8 p.m. Monday on Fox.
