Two named to digital posts at ABC News

NEW YORK -- ABC News has named two executives to senior posts at its digital services ABC News Now and ABCNews.com.

Jessica Stedman Guff has become executive producer of ABC News Now, the network's 24-hour digital news network that is available via digital cable, the Web and wireless, and Chris Sheridan has been named executive producer of ABCNews.com.

Michael Clemente is senior executive producer of ABC News Digital Media and will work on strategic planning for the digital media unit and work on other projects, including "i-Caught," an ABC newsmagazine to debut in the summer.

ABC News said all three report to senior vp worldwide newsgathering Paul Slavin.

Guff, a 25-year veteran of ABC and ABC News, will be in charge of editorial content and production at ABC News Now. She had been senior broadcast producer of "Good Morning America" since September 2004. She also was a key part of the launch of "The View" and was senior producer of the daytime talkfest from 1997-2003. She also has been a producer for "The Barbara Walters Specials" and started working at "Nightline" in 1982.

Sheridan's responsibility is for editorial content and production on ABCNews.com. He was executive producer of "World News Saturday" and "World News Sunday," He also has been executive producer of "World News Now" and "World News This Morning" and worked on "Good Morning America." Before joining ABC News, Sheridan had been "Today" supervising producer and senior producer of MSNBC's "The News With Brian Williams."
