Diane Farr has been tapped to co-star opposite Peter Krause on NBC's hourlong pilot "Parenthood," and Andrea Anders is set as the younger female lead on CBS' comedy pilot "Big D."

For Anders, who co-stars on ABC's midseason comedy series "Better Off Ted," the casting is labeled as a guest star.

Also testing the waters is JoAnna Garcia, star of another bubble series, the CW's "Privileged." She has been tapped for guest roles on two comedy pilots: NBC's untitled Justin Adler project and Fox's "Cop House." Both roles originally were designed as regulars.

Garcia is being joined on the Adler project by Jill Clayburgh and Henry Winkler, who have been tapped as recurring.

In other pilot castings, Lyndsy Fonseca and Faith Ford have been tapped as leads on CBS' comedy pilot "The Fish Tank."

"Parenthood," a comedic drama based on the 1989 feature, revolves around four siblings (Krause, Maura Tierney, Erika Christensen, Dax Shepard) and their parents. Farr will play Krause's wife.

The "Numbers" alumna also recently booked a major recurring role on the upcoming third season of Showtime's "Californication."

In WBTV's "Big D," a New York couple moves to the husband's hometown of Dallas, where his Southern belle mother (Deanna Dunagan) makes life complicated for his East Coast wife (Anders).

Sony/Tantamount's Justin Adler project revolves around adult siblings and their controlling mother (Clayburgh).

Winkler will play their father, who constantly bickers with his wife. Garcia will play the long-suffering, shy wife of the middle sibling (Michael Rosenbaum).

On the Brett Ratner-directed "Cop House," set a halfway house for troubled cops, Garcia will play the house's psychologist.

Sony's "Fish Tank" centers on Fish (Drake Bell), a teen living alone in his family's house. Fonseca ("Desperate Housewives") will play his girlfriend. Ford will play his best friend's mom.
