Two more rounds of Pinsky's 'Rehab' at VH1

VH1 has ordered eight episodes of "Sex Rehab With Dr. Drew," a series where the addiction specialist treats a group with sex compulsion issues. The "Celebrity Rehab" spinoff is one of two new series orders and several pickup announcements the network made Wednesday.

The network also has greenlighted "New York Goes to Work," the latest spinoff in the reality franchise starring Tiffany "New York" Pollard. This time, she'll learn a new job skill each week.

The network also ordered second-season renewals for "I Want to Work for Diddy," "Brooke Knows Best," "Gotti's Way 2" and "Tool Academy" and a third year of "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew."

"VH1 is riding high on its most successful wave of original hit programming yet," said Jeff Olde, executive vp original programming. "Much of our momentum can be credited to many of the franchises and talent that we're renewing."

In "Sex Rehab," Dr. Drew Pinsky will treat a group in Los Angeles and try to shed light on misconceptions about the issue. Eight one-hour episodes have been ordered; the show will premiere in the fall.

"Work," the follow-up to "I Love New York," has fans voting on which job Pollard will learn each week — from sewer worker and mortuary beautician to fast-food employee. The half-hour series begins May 4. (partialdiff)
