While the film comes courtesy of Paramount Pictures, the glasses come compliments of RealD, the 3D exhibition technology specialists.
Personally designed by pop star Katy Perry in partnership with RealD, moviegoers buying a ticket for the film will be able to pick up the limited edition glasses on a first-come, first-served basis at RealD 3D screenings of Perry's movie, which is entering its first weekend of release.
There are 21 Showcase cinemas giving away the special-edition Perry glasses. Ticket prices with glasses are £12.40 ($19.30) for adults and £9.70 ($15) for children at Showcase's Bluewater site outside London.
In the U.S., movie theaters have also offered special glasses for people seeing the Perry movie.
The documentary follows Perry's 2011 California Dreams Tour, which supported her record-shattering third album Teenage Dream.

Directed by Project Runway and Top Chef vets Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz, who also produced last year's successful Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, the film features concert sequences in 3D, as well as behind-the-scenes footage that covers her brief marriage to Russell Brand.
RealD's 3D cinema technology is used at more than 20,200 screens as of March this year by about 900 exhibitors in 68 countries.
