U.K.' s Metrodome in management reshuffle
Trio appointed to oversee day to day running of the businessLONDON -- U.K. independent Metrodome Group, listed here on the AIM stock exchange, said Monday it has reshuffled its top management deck on the back of last month's resignation of Metrodome CEO Peter Urie who exited to pursue personal producer ambitions and the departure of theatrical distribution general manager Sara Frain.
The group, now led by CEO Mark Webster, has promoted marketing chief Jezz Vernon, acquisitions exec James Brown and sales head Jamie Brewer as part of its ongoing restructuring in its distribution operations.
The day to day running of the business will be jointly overseen by the trio who will report directly into Webster.
Vernon will be head of distribution, Brown is appointed head of acquisitions and productions while Brewer will be responsible for sales and overall new business and commercial development.
Last week Metrodome said it is significantly reducing its theatrical movie distribution endeavors whilst at the same time re-iterating a desire to keep its toe in the market.
The British distributor said it "remains an all rights distributor" and aims to operate "across all distribution platforms."
