Universal TV's Bela Bajaria Set as New HRTS President
Adam Berkowitz, Ian Moffitt and Martha Henderson will serve as new officers as the group also adds to its board of directors.
The Hollywood Radio and Television Society has set its new officers and added five members to its board of directors.
Universal Television exec vp Bela Bajara has been appointed as president of the group, WME partner Sean Perry announced Tuesday during the State of the Industry Newsmaker Luncheon at the Beverly Hilton.
CAA co-head of television Adam Berkowitz will serve as vice president; Machinima's head of premium content Ian Moffitt is on board as secretary; and City National Bank exec vp entertainment Martha Henderson will work as treasurer.
In addition to announcing its new officers, the HRTS also added five members to its board of directors. They are HBO programming president Michael Lombardo; NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment Group COO Beth Roberts; Original Productions CEO Philip D. Segal; Starz managing director Carmi Zlotnik; and Weintraub Tobin shareholder Scott Hervey.
"HRTS has always been privileged to have amazing volunteer leaders committed to the ongoing success of our organization," HRTS executive director Dave Ferrara said. "I look forward to working closely with Bela, Adam, Ian, Martha and rest of our board to insure that HRTS continues to provide our industry’s premier information and networking forum."
