Vadas bound for CW
Oxygen exec will head the broadcast net's reality unitOxygen development executive Kristen Connolly Vadas is in negotiations to join the CW as senior vp alternative programming.
As head of the CW's reality department, Vadas will succeed Jennifer Bresnan, who left in August to take the same position at sister network CBS.
Vadas will shepherd the CW's existing reality franchises, including the long-running hit "America's Next Top Model," and the development of new unscripted series, reporting to CW entertainment president Dawn Ostroff.
Vadas most recently served as vp development at Oxygen, where she played a key part in building the cable network's reality and scripted slate with such series as "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood," "The Bad Girls Club," "Girls Behaving Badly," "Mo'Nique's Fat Chance," "Campus Ladies" and the new series "Coolio's Rules."
