COLOGNE, Germany -- German production giant Studio Hamburg has re-upped the contracts of executives Sytze van der Laan and Robin Houcken, extending them through 2012, the company announced Wednesday.

Van der Laan remains head of production, while Houcken will continue as managing director of the group's holding company, Studio Hamburg Gmbh.

Both men sit on Studio Hamburg's four-person management board, which also includes Martin Willich and Hans-Peter Urban.

Studio Hamburg is one of Europe's largest production companies. Its numerous TV productions include hit soap "Good Times, Bad Times" for RTL, the telenovela "That's Life" for Sat.1, and game show "The Quiz" for ZDF.

Studio Hamburg's international feature film arm, SHIP, specializes in English-language family entertainment like the upcoming "The Three Investigators: The Secret of Skeleton Island," which Buena Vista is releasing in Germany.

The group also has extensive production facilities in Germany and provided production services for such films as "Flightplan," "Resident Evil" and "Good Bye Lenin!"
