Vanilla Ice, Shontelle to Perform at Streamy Awards
The awards show, which honors the best in web video offerings, will be held Feb. 17 at the Hollywood Palladium.
The Streamy Awards, which were retooled as a more fan-oriented show for this year's event, revealed that the artist famous for "Ice, Ice Baby" will be a headline performer at the third annual ceremony.
Rob Van Winkle, better known as Vanilla Ice, and singer-songwriter Shontelle were announced as performers at the awards, to be held at the Hollywood Palladium on Feb. 17. Also performing will be the Streamy-nominated artists for best online musician: Mike Tompkins, Chester See, DeStorm and Epic Rap Battles.

Other performers include best original song nominee Kurt Hugo Schneider as well as artists Sam Tsui and Savannah Outen. Shontelle is set to sing her single "Impossible" at the event.
The third incarnation of the show -- honoring the best in online video offerings -- has lined up comedian Chris Hardwick to emcee the proceedings.
The Streamys are produced by media company Tubefilter in partnership with Dick Clark Productions. Guggenheim Partners, the owner of The Hollywood Reporter, acquired Dick Clark Productions in September 2012.
Drew Baldwin, the creator of the Streamy Awards, told THR in November that he envisioned the upcoming awards show to reflect a "level playing field where true talent — regardless of whether they come from a Hollywood studio or a suburban bedroom — can receive the recognition and the honor it deserves."
