Venevision, RMG News Ink Deal at NATPE

Venevision International CEO Cesar Diaz says his company will focus on packaging news reels for the "creation of an incredible series."

On the last day of the three-day NATPE TV sales bazaar in Miami on Wednesday, Venezuela's Venevision inked a deal with RMG News for the foreign rights to sell its catalogue of  news clips.

Cesar Diaz, vp of sales for Venevision International, said his company will focus on packaging "these remarkable news reels for the creation of an incredible series, while also exploring an array of options.”

RMG News delivers news footage to television and cable networks across the world.   RMG currently has 400 hours of footage ranging from high-speed pursuits and shootouts to cliff rescues and brush fires.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Venevision on our ever-expanding archive of extreme news footage,” said Austin Raishbrook, owner & company director of RMG News.
