Vertice revenue up 23% in first half
Spanish conglomerate posts $95.7 mil in incomeMADRID -- Spanish entertainment conglomerate Vertice 360 announced Friday that it posted 61.6 million euros ($95.7 million) in income over the first half of the year, a 23% increase from the same period a year ago.
Television content and audiovisual services accounted for 70% of the figure, the company said.
Net profits were 462,000 euros ($718,000), compared with a 129 million euro loss in the 2007 period.
The publicly held company owns TV producer Notro Films, film production house Telespan 2000, production and postproduction services Telson and movie distributor Manga Films.
