VH1 is glamming up its schedule with Vivica A. Fox.

The cable network has greenlighted "Glam God With Vivica A. Fox," an eight-episode competition show that will focus on the search for the "next great celebrity stylist."

Each week, contestants will be asked to compete in challenges that will test their knowledge of fashion and style trends as they create the perfect look from head to toe, including hair, makeup and wardrobe. The winner will receive $100,000 and the opportunity to launch his or her career by styling an A-list celebrity. Viewers also will learn styling tips throughout each episode.

The series, set to debut in the summer, is created and executive produced by Cris Abrego for 51 Pictures, which is behind such VH1 series as "Rock of Love," "Flavor of Love" and "I Love New York."

"Vivica is a movie star and a fashion icon who knows how to step onto the red carpet and nail it every single time," said Jeff Olde, executive vp original programming and production at VH1. "She knows how critical it is to have a 'glam god' she can trust to create a star-making, killer look."

Also exec producing "Glam God" are Fox, Lita Richardson and 51 Pictures' Ben Samek.
