Watch Sesame Street Perfectly Spoof 'Birdman' With One Continuous, Ego-Filled Shot (Video)

'Big Birdman'

Asks Caroll Spinney: "How did we get here? How did we get to Sesame Street? Doesn't matter! You're the original! A movie star, remember? You can fly!"

Sesame Street's most spot-on spoof has arrived on the wings of Big Bird.

The children's program released its take on Alejandro G. Inarritu's Birdman, complete with an imitation of cinematographer's Emmanuel Lubezki's continuous shot and composer Antonio Sanchez's percussion-only score.

Caroll Spinney, who voices Big Bird, steps into "Big Birdman (or The Unexpected Virtue of Orange Pants)" as Michael Keaton's character, as his own oft-recognized feathered persona taunts him.

After magically sending a few things flying in his dressing room and debating whether they should've done that Raymond Carver play, his ego asks, "How did we get here? How did we get to Sesame Street? Doesn't matter! You're the original! A movie star, remember? You can fly!"
