VIDEO: Susan Boyle Flubs Song Live on 'The View'

"I had a bit of a frog in my throat," she says as Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd rush to the stage.

Susan Boyle stopped her performance of Christmas carol "O Holy Night" mid-song live on The View Tuesday.

"I'm sorry, I had a bit of a frog in my throat," Boyle explained after Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd rushed to the stage.

"Oh my gosh, Susan, there is something of an angel that comes out when you open your mouth," Shepherd enthused. "An amazingly pure sound."

Goldberg said she empathized with having a scratchy throat while singing. "Mine is always like that. That happens to you periodically, but when you're performing what can you really do except stop and say, 'I got a frog in my throat,' yeah?"
