Presenters Joey Graceffa, Grace Helbig, Tyler Oakley and Lilly Singh also will be on hand during the Oct. 4 awards show.

Vine star and comedian Andrew Bachelor has been tapped to host the 2016 Streamy Awards.

Bachelor, who goes by the online name King Bach, has more followers on Vine, the Twitter-owned app for six-second videos, than any other online star, and has parlayed his internet fame into a comedy and acting career that includes roles on House of Lies, The Mindy Project and Black Jesus. He also will star in two upcoming indie films, Where's the Money and When We First Met. Now, he will add awards show host to his résumé.

"It's an honor to be able to celebrate the accomplishments of my peers, as they continue to innovate and entertain audiences worldwide," Bachelor said Wednesday in a statement. "Supporters should look forward to unbelievable performances, surprises and appearances from some of the best individuals in digital entertainment."

For the last two years, the Streamy Awards have had a duo host the show. In 2015, it was Grace Helbig and Tyler Oakley, and in 2014, Helbig was joined by Hannah Hart in the hosting role.

"Right out of the gate, King Bach has taken the internet by storm," said Streamy Awards executive producer Drew Baldwin. "He's edgy, unpredictable and an absolute comedic genius. We can't wait to witness his creativity at play as we put together our biggest Streamys yet."

The Streamy Awards, set to held Oct. 4 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, also have named several presenters. They include online stars Philip DeFranco, Brittany Furlan, Gigi Gorgeous, Joey Graceffa, Jenna Marbles, Lele Pons, Lilly Singh, Helbig, Oakley and others.

In addition, the Streamys have named the finalists for two fan choice awards — entertainer of the year and show of the year. Voting opens Wednesday and will continue until midday on Oct. 4. Votes can be submitted via the Streamys website and Twitter.

Last year, the Streamy Awards were broadcast on VH1 and streamed online. Organizers Dick Clark Productions and Tubefilter have yet to reveal how fans can watch the show when it takes place Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 6 p.m. PT.
