The classically trained singer will release a collection of holiday songs before his full-length album comes out Oct. 30.

Chris Mann has been very busy since wrapping The Voice.

Not only will the classically trained singer be releasing his first album under the new Universal Republic imprint, Faircraft, run by A&R executive Ron Fair, but he’ll release a Christmas EP before his solo album hits stores October 30.

The holiday EP, White Christmas, which will have six classic songs, will be available exclusively at Walmart on Oct. 9, executive-producer Fair told The Hollywood Reporter. The tunes include "O Holy Night," "White Christmas" and "The First Noel."

Fair, a multi-platinum producer who’s guided the careers of Vanessa Carlton, The Black Eyed Peas, The Pussycat Dolls and Mann’s own Voice coach Christina Aguilera, tells THR that White Christmas and Mann’s debut album will allow the former Voice contestant to successfully transition from being on a reality show to having a music career.

“From the end of June, to make an album and release in October, I don’t want to say it’s unprecedented timing, but it’s certainly the correct timing for somebody like Chris coming off a TV show,” Fair says.

Mann, who was in the final four on the second season of The Voice but did not end up winning, will follow the release of his EP with his debut album, which will feature a mix of 7 covers and 4 original songs.

“Even though Chris did not win,” Fair says. “Chris is so legitimate and so substantial in his area, I really think this guy is going to be a huge, huge success.”

The covers include new recordings of Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game," Damien Rice's "The Blower's Daughter” and “My Way.” Also, Mann will sing “Ave Maria,” which he also performed on the NBC show.

“The benefit of having done this for 12 years is I had a lot of songs in mind, for whenever I had this opportunity,” Mann tells THR. “I just wanted to sing the best songs that I could find, whether I wrote them or not.”

The originals, two of which Mann wrote, include “Roads,” an emotional song about life’s journey, which will most likely be his first single. The two songs that are his own are "Falling" and "Cuore," the latter of which is in Italian and features Bach's Air on a G String.

“I think it’s really an interesting collection of songs, and they all make sense together,” he says.”It’s all about being big and beautiful and epic.”
