Leonardo DiCaprio, Julia Roberts, Emma Stone Team for Anonymous Content's Voting PSA
"Vote Your Future" videos are helmed by Alejandro Inarritu, David O. Russell, Tom McCarthy, Joss Whedon and Armando Bo, and feature Rami Malek, Samuel L. Jackson, Kendall Jenner, Edward Norton and more.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Julia Roberts, Kendall Jenner, Rami Malek, Zendaya, Samuel L. Jackson and more have joined for a new initiative to encourage people to vote in the presidential election.
Entitled "Vote Your Future,” the PSAs ask stars to explain what issues on the ballot are most important to them: "What do you care about?"
Stanley Tucci and Laura Dern prioritize health care, Rose McGowan wants wage equality, Milo Ventimiglia cares about veterans and Julianna Margulies highlights immigration as an important issue.
"One issue that I care about very deeply is gun control," Moby explains. "I sat down with the parents of the children who were killed in Newtown and I saw a level of grief and emptiness and despair that I couldn’t have even imagined beforehand."
Donald Faison notes, "My kids are brown — there's a possibility that because of the color of their skin, they're not gonna live past 25, especially my sons." And Wilmer Valderrama gets visibly emotional when he says, "We take the jobs that people assume don't exist, and somehow, we're taking those jobs from people."
"If you agree with me, vote," urges Sarah Hyland. "Even if you disagree with me, vote."
Anna Hathaway, Olivia Wilde, Jonah Hill, Emma Stone, Josh Gad, Miranda Cosgrove, John Slattery, Ken Jeong, Edward Norton and Martin Sheen are among the nearly 100 participants in the initiative, which sees the stars sharing the individually shot videos on their personal social platforms.
Alejandro Inarritu, David O. Russell, Tom McCarthy, Joss Whedon and Armando Bo helped direct the videos for the campaign, spearheaded by Anonymous Content CEO Steve Golin.
