Vue expands marketing team

Daniel Heale joins U.K. exhibitor as head of marketing

LONDON -- U.K. multiplex operator, Vue Entertainment, has announced a new appointment to expand its marketing team. Daniel Heale joins Vue in the newly created post of head of marketing, reporting into Mark de Quervain, sales and marketing director.

Heale joins Vue from Travelodge Hotels Ltd, where he was director of marketing and sales.

In his new role, Heale will lead a team of eight including the recently appointed Digital and CRM manager, Alexander Montuschi who joined from Lastminute.com, and merchandising manager, Phil D'Souza, previously B&Q.

Heale will oversee the development of communications strategies for new Vue initiatives including Over 18s, Mystery Movies and Superior Seating, and the rollout of RealD 3D systems across an additional 31 Vue cinemas. Heale will also be responsible for e-commerce, CRM, in cinema merchandising, marketing and PR communications.
