The MPAA and the National Association of Theatre Owners on Thursday unveiled anti-camcording posters for display in U.S. movie theaters. "More than 90% of newly released movies that end up on the Internet or in street markets around the world can be sourced to a single, illegally camcorded movie from a movie theater," MPAA chairman and CEO Dan Glickman said. NATO chief John Fithian said the posters, whose images stress the legal consequences of camcording, "underscore our determination to stop illegal camcording in our theaters."
