'War Dogs' Trailer Shows How Miles Teller, Jonah Hill Became Arms Dealers
"This isn't about being pro-war; this is about being pro-money."
So how did two frat bros come to supply an international war effort?
Warner Bros. released a new trailer for War Dogs — the Todd Phillips comedy that follows two twenty-somethings who secure a multi-million dollar contract from the U.S. government to supply arms to the Afghan military — that answers that question.
It turns out that Miles Teller's David stumbled into the gig with his best friend from junior high school (Jonah Hill), and escaping his job as a massage therapist in Miami Beach.
"This is the job: we do business with the people the U.S. government can't do business with directly," summarizes Hill.
That includes working with people like Bradley Cooper, who is on the terrorist watch list. "I'm not a bad man, but in certain situations, I have to ask myself: what would a bad man do?"
War Dogs hits theaters on August 19. Watch the new trailer below.
