Warner Bros. partners for AIDS Relief
EmptyWASHINGTON -- It's true: Republicans and Hollywood can get along in an election year, at least when it comes to the Bush administration's attempt to raise awareness about the global HIV/AIDS pandemic.
Warner Bros. Entertainment has entered a public-private partnership with the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. Chuck Dages, executive vp emerging technology at Warners., will oversee the effort.
Fittingly, a movie trailer illustrating PEPFAR's work and results in HIV prevention, care and treatment will be the first take. The movie trailer is an educational tool based on PEPFAR's 15-minute documentary, "Saving Lives Creating Hope," which depicts the fight against HIV/AIDS.
