Warner Horizon TV taps Karzen
She'll oversee the unscripted programming slateBrooke Karzen has been named senior vp alternative programming at Warner Horizon TV.
She takes the reins of the reality department from David Auerbach, who recently left the company after a two-year stint.
Karzen will oversee the development and production of WHTV's unscripted programming slate, reporting to executive vp Craig Erwich.
An eight-year Warner Bros. TV veteran, Karzen joined Telepictures Prods. in 2000 as vp programming, overseeing development and programming for such series as "The Bachelor," "Trista and Ryan's Wedding" and "High School Reunion." She was named senior creative exec at WHTV in 2006.
Karzen also has served as vp development at Buena Vista TV and vp development at Dick Clark Prods.
