Warner shares 'Secret'

The Secret Prods. has partnered with Warner Bros. Digital Distribution to deliver the best-selling self-help film "The Secret" through VOD and PPV starting Aug. 31.

The deal gives access to the film to cable operators across the U.S. and Canada as well as such other providers as DirecTV, AT&T and certain hotel chains. Warner Bros. will promote the release with on-air TV spots, print ads, ads in interactive program guides as well as direct mailings to cable, satellite and IPTV subscribers nationwide.

In some markets, Warner Bros. will include these special features: "The Science of the Secret," which delves into the science behind the film's message; "Discovering the Secret," about the idea's origin; "Revealing the Secret," a making-of featurette; and a daily visualization tool, "The Secret to You."
