Carmen Cusack and the cast of Bright Star lit up the stage at the Tony Awards on Sunday night with a performance of "If You Knew My Story."

Steve Martin, who wrote and composed the musical alongside Edie Brickell, strummed a short tune on the banjo before introducing the cast's performance.

Cusack was accompanied by a band playing guitars, banjos and bass as she belted the lyrics to the production's hit song.

Bright Star was nominated for five Tonys, including best musical, best original score and best lead actress (for Cusack's performance).
