Watch Emma Watson Dedicate Britannia Award to Dead Hamster in Bizarre Speech
What does the award have to do with the hamster? It's not entirely clear
Emma Watson has delivered a very odd award speech.
The Noah actress was accepting the Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year when she told a somewhat rambling story about Millie, a hamster she cared for on the set of the first Harry Potter film.
She explained that the film's crew went all out to give the hamster a proper resting place, including a velvet-lined coffin and a plaque. No, we're not making this up.
"Rest in peace," Watson concluded her speech. "Millie, this one's for you."
