Watch Johnny Depp's Bizarre, Curse-Filled Speech at Hollywood Film Awards
Part of the actor's comments were censored during Friday's telecast
Johnny Depp gave a lurching intro to Shep Gordon, the subject of Mike Myers' documentary Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon, in presenting Myers with the Hollywood Documentary Award.
Asked about it back stage, Myers said, "It was very rock 'n roll, which is very appropriate for Shep Gordon."
Twitter reacted strongly to Depp's weird stage presence. From speculations that the star was drunk to acclaim for "breaking the internet," here's a roundup of the social media reactions to his remarks.

It's been a rock 'n' roll couple of days for Depp. On Thursday night, the actor jammed with Elvis Costello, Marcus Mumford and others at an intimate show at the Montalban Theatre in support of Lost On The River: The New Basement Tapes, a new record inspired by Bob Dylan's lyrics.
The Hollywood Film Awards are produced by Dick Clark Productions, a sister company of The Hollywood Reporter.
