Watch The Killers and Jimmy Kimmel's New Christmas Music Video "Joel, the Lump of Coal"

The bittersweet video benefits the (RED) campaign

Every year The Killers make an original Christmas song to benefit the (RED) campaign .and this year Jimmy Kimmel was chosen to create the song with the band. He brought along Christmas sweaters and a strong opinion on pronunciation as the group brainstormed the story of Joel, a sweet lump of coal.

The video for the song shows Joel getting excited to be a toy for a little boy or girl after Santa asks him to come along in his sleigh. His disappointment at finding out he's for the naughty children is adorably tragic, but there's a bittersweet twist at the end of the song. Watch "Joel, the Lump of Coal" below, and be prepared to never look at coal the same way again.
