School of Rock — The Musical  star Alex Brightman performed alongside the hit Broadway production's cast at the Tony Awards on Sunday evening.

Brightman, nominated for best actor in a leading role in a musical, was joined onstage by the young cast of actors to sing "You're in the Band."

Bedecked in their school uniform costumes, the young actors played the electric guitar live and sang with Brightman — dressed like a school teacher in a sweater and tie — who danced and also played the guitar while taking the lead on the rock lyrics.

The musical opened Dec. 6 at Winter Garden Theatre and is nominated for four awards, including best musical.
