The cast of Spring Awakening performed "Mama Who Bore Me" and "The Bitch of Living" at the Tony Awards on Sunday evening.

Castmembers of the musical, nearly half of whom are deaf, both sang and signed the lyrics to the songs. The stage transformed into a classroom for the "Bitch of Living" performance as the performers danced atop desks and chairs.

The production was nominated for three Tonys, including best revival of a musical, best direction of a musical and best lighting design of a musical.
