Jay-Z and Kanye West fans have been eagerly anticipating their release of their upcoming album, Watch the Throne, for months.
And on Wednesday night, they gave fans a taste of what they can expect by debuting a new song, titled "Otis," on New York's Hot 97 radio station.

The track features West and Jay-Z rapping over the vocals of legendary R&B singer Otis Redding, starting off with a sample from his 1966 hit "Try a Little Tenderness."
Among other topics, Jay-Z raps about his watch collection, while West works in a reference to Phillip Drummond, the fictional father on 1980s sitcom Diff'rent Strokes.
Instant reaction on Twitter was mostly positive.

STORY: Kanye West Tweets That His New Album Is Due in Summer
Jay-Z and West have previously released two songs: the single "H*A*M," in January, and "That's My B*tch," which appeared online late last year -- but those weren't part of a private listening session for journalists held earlier this month in New York, and it's unclear whether they will be on the finished album.
Watch the Throne, which went on presale July 4, is rumored to be hitting the Web on Aug. 1 and be available in stores Aug. 5. It also features the voices of Jay-Z's wife, Beyonce, among others.
