WB taps station relations vp

Charlotte Koppe has been named to the newly created position of vp station relations at Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.

Koppe will manage the day-to-day operations of WBDTD's local-station marketing, communication and station relations activities regarding all first-run series, off-network series and motion picture packages that the studio has sold to local broadcasters.

She also will work closely with executive vp and GM Rick Meril to develop and implement ongoing sales strategies for Warners programs once they are scheduled on local stations and will help coordinate all of WBDTD's business-to-station communication. Additionally, she will supervise the activities of WBDTD's clearance department.

Koppe reports to Meril and Susan Kantor, senior vp marketing at WBDTD and Telepictures Prods.

Before her promotion, Koppe had been director of affiliate marketing since 2004, overseeing the launch and first three seasons of "The Tyra Banks Show." She also worked closely with "TMZ" affiliates in creating local marketing initiatives to support the show's fall 2007 launch.
