Weisbein sold on Goldcrest Films
EmptyPierre Weisbein has been named executive vp sales at Goldcrest Films International, where he will lead the company's new films division.
A former head of sales at StudioCanal and Senator International, Weisbein has led sales campaign for more than 50 films, including "The Grudge," "The Pianist" and "Mulholland Drive." He recently arranged sales for Daniele Thompson's "Avenue Montaigne" and "The Company," produced by John Calley and Ridley Scott, for TNT. He most recently worked at Green Room Pictures.
Weisbein praised the 30-year-old company, saying "its library is one of the best-kept secrets in Hollywood. The company has the financial tools, spirit and people to relaunch itself as a solid player in the new film production and sales arena, and I am exited to help deliver on that vision," he said.
Goldcrest's library boasts films that have garnered 19 Oscars and 28 BAFTAs.
