New live episodes of the talk show will now run through July 23.

It will be another busy summer for Wendy Williams.

The Wendy Williams Show is extending its season through the summer for a third year in a row.

The daytime talk show will continue to air new episodes through July 23. The extension comes at the tail end of another successful season for the New York-based production, which has seen steady growth ever year.

Earlier this season, The Wendy Williams Show hit a new high in households and in the women 25-54 demographic. Season to date, the show has seen an 11 percent gain in the women 18-49 demographic and a nine percent increase in the women 25-54 demographic through May 17.

“This is one instance in which we don’t mind sounding like a broken record,” said Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein. “Thanks to Wendy, her terrific production team and our strong lineup of affiliates, we now have one of only a handful of talk shows that have not only survived but thrived in daytime. Very rarely in our long careers have we seen a show perform like this – one that trends up sweep after sweep, routinely posts year-over-year growth and sees gains in almost every market, including on traditional affiliates and following newscasts, as ratings for most other shows sink. Incredible.”

Added Williams: “Who needs the summer off? I love what I do and am so excited to able to share in the amazing enthusiasm and energy of my audience at home and in the studio, including those who are home from school. This is a phenomenal experience and I am so grateful to spend the summer with them, spilling all those juicy Hot Topics and sharing laughs."

The Wendy Williams Show is renewed through 2017.
