Watch Naomi Watts Envy Amanda Seyfried's Hip-Hop Skills in the 'While We're Young' Trailer
Says Ben Stiller: "For the first time, I've stopped thinking of myself as a child imitating an adult"
Age is a lot more than a number, as illustrated in the new trailer for While We're Young.
Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts star as a middle-aged couple who's grappling with arthritis and deciding whether or not to have a baby. Meanwhile, new friends Amanda Seyfried and Adam Driver look chic and laid-back with their vintage-decorated apartment and effortless hip-hop dance classes.
When asked, "Why do you suddenly want to hang out with a couple of 25-year-olds?" Stiller responds, "It's like they're engaged in everything," while Watts adds, "Being around them energizes you."
Frances Ha director Noah Baumbach reteams with Stiller after 2010's Greenberg for the seriocomedy that deals with such issues as mid-life marital strife, generational envy and the feeling of life and career passing you by. Says Stiller at one point, "For the first time, I've stopped thinking of myself as a child imitating an adult."
