Wesley Snipes Ordered to Report to Pennsylvania Prison Next Week
A judge declares Wednesday he must surrender at the Federal Correctional Institution McKean in Lewis Run, Pa., by noon on Dec. 9.
Wesley Snipes must report to prison next week to serve his three-year term, a judge ruled on Wednesday.
Snipes must voluntarily surrender at the Federal Correctional Institution McKean in Lewis Run, Pa., by noon, the Associated Press reports.
Lawyers for Snipes, who was convicted on tax evasion charges, had unsuccessfully argued to keep him out of jail on bond while he appeals his court to the U.S. Supreme Court.
He had remained free on bail while appealing his 2008 conviction for not filing tax returns.
