WGA Announces New Media and Video Game Nominations
Winners will be honored at the 2013 Writers Guild Awards on Sunday, Feb. 17.
The nominees for outstanding achievement in writing for new media and video games were announced by the WGA West and WGA East on Wednesday. Winners will be honored at the 2013 Writers Guild Awards on Sunday, Feb. 17, at simultaneous ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York.

This is the third year that there have been honors for the craft of new-media writing.
The screen nominees were announced Jan. 4.
As previously announced, Castle star Nathan Fillion will host the West Coast show at the JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. Live. Screenwriter-playwright Tom Stoppard will receive the WGA West’s 2013 Laurel Award for Screen, honoring lifetime achievement in outstanding writing for motion pictures.
