'White Collar' Star Named Master of Ceremonies for Zimmer Children's Museum Gala
Willie Garson will host the 13th annual Discovery Award dinner honoring Hub Network president/CEO Margaret Loesch, Fox Television Studios president David Madden and attorney Sanford Michelman.
White Collar star Willie Garson has been tapped as master of ceremonies for the Zimmer Children's Museum's 13th annual Discovery Award dinner to be held Nov. 14, it was announced Thursday by Esther Netter, founder and CEO of Zimmer Children's Museum.
The gala will present its Discovery Award, which honors leaders in their fields and communities, to Margaret Loesch, founding president and CEO of the Hub Network; David Madden, president of Fox Television Studios; and Sanford Michelman, founding partner and chair of Michelman & Robinson LLP.
“As a longtime supporter of the Zimmer Museum, Willie’s support by hosting our most important gala is extremely gratifying,” said Netter. “He is so well respected for his illustrious career and we are so fortunate that he will bring his talents to honor our Discovery Award recipients.”
Garson, who currently stars as Mozzie in USA Network's White Collar (which hails from Fox TV Studios), also has played Stanford Blatch on Sex and the City and has had roles on a slew of TV series, including NYPD Blue, John From Cincinnati, Just Shoot Me, Spin City and Ally McBeal.
He also is involved in several charities, including Big Brothers and Young Artists United. Garson is actively involved with amfAR, Aspen Youth Experience, Alliance for Children's Rights in Los Angeles and Camp Joslin Diabetes Center in Massachusetts.
