Will Ferrell has joined UTA.

The comedian becomes the latest actor to find a new anchor in the aftermath of the exodus of five CAA agents who left the agency to become partners at UTA.

Jason Heyman, Martin Lesak, Greg CavicNick Nuciforo and Gregory McKnight resigned Tuesday, throwing the agency world into complete disequilibrium and putting many actors in play.

Ferrell’s recent movies, such as 2012’s The Campaign and 2013’s Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, have not fared as well as his earlier efforts, but the actor has returned to fine box-office form this past weekend with Get Hard. The Warner Bros. comedy has grossed $33 million since its release on March 27.
