Fox Orders Comedy Script from MADTV's Will Sasso (Exclusive)

Will Sasso PR Headshot P 2011

The comedy revolves around a conservative Army Ranger who returns home to find his brother has turned into a liberal, skinny jeans–wearing, anti-establishment, street artist who lives in a hipster neighborhood.

Fox is getting quasi-patriotic.

The network has ordered a script for All-Americans, a half-hour multi camera comedy that centers on a patriotic and conservative Army Ranger comes home after serving 10 years in the Middle East to find that in the last decade, his brother (the only family he has left) has turned into a liberal, skinny jeans–wearing, anti-establishment, street artist who lives in a hipster neighborhood.

The project, from Werner Entertainment in association with Warner Brothers TV, hails from multi-hyphenate Will Sasso ($#*! My Dad Says, Family Guy, Best in Show, MADtv) and Chad Kultgen (Burt Wonderstone, Southern Discomfort). The pair, who previously collaborated on passed over CBS comedy pilot, Waiting to Die, will write, with Sasso serving as a co-executive producer and Kultgen as an executive producer.

Tom Werner (That 70's Show, Grace Under Fire, Roseanne) and Mike Clements (The Life & Times of Tim, Good Vibes) are also on board as EPs.

Sasso, who will appear in the upcoming Three Stooges, is repped by APA and D2 Management; Kultgen is repped by CAA.
