"Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false," the pair said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. "We are still together, and our marriage is intact."

Still, fans of the Hollywood power couple took to Twitter to discuss the rumors, which were started by tabloid In Touch Weekly. Their names became the No. 1 trending topic on Twitter, and the No. 1 search item on Google on Tuesday.

Some made jokes involving the theme song to Fresh Prince of Bel Air, the sitcom on which the couple first met.
