WME | IMG Signs Tennis Star Genie Bouchard
The World No. 7 also has signed with IMG Models
WME | IMG has signed tennis player Genie Bouchard to a worldwide marketing and management deal, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The Montreal native, 20, also has signed with IMG Models.
Currently ranked No. 7 in the world, Bouchard won her first career WTA title in May, at Nurnberg, and qualified for the WTA Finals in Singapore in October. Her breakthrough season also included reaching the semifinal round at the Australian and French Opens (she pushed Maria Sharapova to three sets in the latter) and reaching the final at Wimbledon, becoming the first Canadian (male or female) in history to play a Grand Slam final.
