WME Signs Wedding Web Company The Knot
The company’s most well-known brands are TheKnot.com and WeddingChannel.com.
The Knot Inc., a publicly traded lifestyle company with websites that focus on weddings, babies and young couples, has signed with WME in all areas.
The company’s most well-known brands are TheKnot.com and WeddingChannel.com, both wedding planning resources. Other sites include TheNest.com, which targets young couples, and TheBump.com for expectant parents.
The agency will pursue TV shows, feature films and licensing deals for the company.
“The entertainment space is an untapped market we have yet to fully explore and we’re thrilled to be entering this new arena with such a renowned and well-connected talent agency as WME,” said Alison Bernstein, vice president of development at The Knot Inc., in a statement.
