THR's pick of the week for industry power dining.

The Quick Pitch: A three-month pop-up concept at Venice’s disused Capri address on Abbot Kinney, helmed by two rising neighborhood toques: Brian Dunsmoor, previously of Axe, and Kris Tominaga, who was most recently the chef de cuisine at Joe’s. Farmers’ market finds determine the frenetically rotating small-plates menu.

The Insider’s Dish: The restaurant’s name is a purposefully silly mouthful. Dunsmoor, Tominaga and business partner John Mascarenhas figured an ungainly moniker would be better remembered.

The Must-Order Item: A biscuit with apple butter, persimmon and pimento cheese.

The Best Table: One of the spots by the street-facing front windows.

The Industry Neighbor: Robert Downey Jr.’s production banner, Team Downey, has its office just three blocks west along Venice's main drag.
