Woman Pleads No Contest to Leonardo DiCaprio Assault
A woman accused of attacking Leonardo DiCaprio in 2005 has pleaded no contest to assault with a deadly weapon.
Aretha Wilson, 40, allegedly smashed a wine glass in the Inception actor's face at a Hollywood Hills party at the home of Rick Salomon, the man best known as Paris Hilton's sex tape partner.
Wilson is expected to be sentenced to two years in prison under a plea agreement, notes Reuters. She has already served 330 days in jail for the crime and was scheduled to go on trial next week.
DiCaprio underwent surgery to repair injuries to his face, neck and ear after the attack.
Earlier this month, the actor signed on star in and produce an adaption of the Erik Larson novel, The Devil in the White City.
