Former Working Title Exec to Make Feature Debut (Exclusive)

LONDON – Award-winning short film writer/director Tammy Riley-Smith is making the leap to features with Delicious, an independently-backed British debut.

Riley-Smith's debut will star Louise Brealey (TV's Sherlock and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) and Nico Rogner (Looking for Simon) and is billed as a dark, comedy romance.

Riley-Smith's script tells the tale of a passionate chef who resorts to extreme measures to get an obsessive dieter to eat good food and is described as Chocolat meets Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down.

The project marks another debut in addition to Riley-Smith's directing duties.

It will be the first project as a producer for Michael Price, whose resume as a composer and music editor ranges from the double Emmy and BAFTA nominated score of BBC's Sherlock, composed with David Arnold, to music editor on Children of Men, Love Actually and the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Riley-Smith, a former development executive with Working Title Films, can also count on line producer Geoff Dibben (War Horse) to keep her on track during the low-budget movie's shoot on location in London in December this year.
