'Wreck-It Ralph' Teaser Trailer: John C. Reilly Gets Animated (Video)
John C. Reilly is best known for his comedic roles in movies such as Step Brothers and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby alongside funnyman Will Ferrell.
Just when it would seem Reilly couldn’t get any more animated, he takes on the role of Ralph in Disney’s new animated film Wreck-It Ralph, this time appealing to a younger audience.
In the trailer, Ralph is a misunderstood video game villain sick of his job. He even attends Bad-Anon support groups with classic video game villains. After doing the same job for 30 years, Ralph ultimately decides its time to be the hero instead of the bad guy. To change his reputation, he leaves the “Fix-It Felix Jr” game and explores the video game universe trying to make a new name for himself.
While Reilly hasn't done much voice work in the past, he did provide the voice of himself in The Simpsons episode “Any Given Sundance.”
Reilly stars alongside Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch, and Sarah Silverman in what might be Disney’s next big hit. Wreck-It Ralph is set to premiere in theaters this November.
