'Wu Xia' Director Peter Chan Wins Achievement Award at Asian Film Festival of Rome

Chan received the award during the festival's opening ceremonies.
HONG KONG –- Director Peter Chan (Wu Xia) was the recipient of the Achievement Award at the Asian Film Festival of Rome. The festival is presenting a retrospective of Chan’s films, including The Warlords, Perhaps Love, and Comrades: Almost a Love Story. The award-winning director-producer also spoke at a seminar about his work.
Chan’s upcoming martial arts epic Wu Xia, starring Donnie Yen, Takeshi Kaneshiro and Tang Wei, is set for release on July 4 across Asia.
